Anime has been around for well over 200 years. But before there was Tv and the internet, the Japanese called it
"Manga". Manga is a comic book that is in black and white, but instead of reading it like us Americans do, they read it from
back to fron, right to left.
Manga is based around super natural ideas. Like when girls/boys transform into hero's and save the day from invading
intruders. When Anime came to the US, Americans dubbed the shows to be kid friendly. If you have ever watched any anime show
from japan in English, then you will know that the voice actors stink at there job.
Japan has a number of anime TV programs. Like Sailor Moon, Yu Yu Hacasho, Yu-Gi-Oh, Zatch Bell, Dragon Ball z+Gt, Pita
Ten, Naruto, BoBoBo BoBoBoBo and Mew Mew Power. There anime is there verson of cartoons. There "Cartoons" are always full
of action and have great detail *some more then others @_@*
There anime is split up to three levels.
1) 13- Safe for all veiwers.
2) 14+ Explict contant.
3) Adult - Heavy Nudity and violence.
Although some are not all that great, they still teach us about there culture when they are shared to the US.
I chalenge you to watch an Enlish episode of any anime and then watch it in Japanese. Compare them to each other
